Dr. Daniel Wangpraseurt (he/him) is a marine biologist with interests in coral reef engineering and ecophysiology. He received his PhD from the University of Technology, Sydney in 2015 followed by postdoctoral training at the University of Copenhagen, the University of Cambridge and Scripps Institution of Oceanography. His research is highly interdisciplinary and he has received training in coral reef science, bio-optics, biophysics and bioengineering. Dr. Wangpraseurt is an Associate Editor for "Frontiers in Marine Science: Coral Reefs" and advisory board member of the "Coral Restoration Consortium", dedicated to advancing technologies for reef restoration.
